Preston Gralla suggests nine steps to speed up your Windows 10 PC.

  1. Optimize power settings
  2. Disable programs which run on startup
  3. Turn off search indexing
  4. Clean the Registry
  5. Disable visual effects
  6. Launch the Windows Troubleshooter
  7. Use Performance Monitor
  8. Kill Bloatware
  9. Restart Windows
