Bob Brown penned "Feds Seek to Sniff Out Toxic Chemicals with Cellphones", which indicates that cell phones in the near future will have the ability to detect smells such as toxic chemicals. I suspect that this technology may have potential for monitoring illnesses and assisting with receipes.
