Trash Bag Decomposition

Jake Rossen reports that plastic trash bags are estimated to need a thousand years to decompose when buried in a landfill. The bags quickly degrade into tiny "microplastic" chunks if exposed to sunlight with its UV radiation, but these chunks will be ongoing environmental hazard.
