Having Incomplete Tasks May Increase Productivity
Amantha Imber proposes that starting the morning with a task which was partially completed earlier is more likely to result in priming the brain to be in a "flow" state when completing the task. Psychologists have named the brain's greater attention to incomplete tasks the "Zeigarnik Effect".
