Crime Statistics
The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation reports the statistics from its Uniform Crime Reporting Program. In some cases ( U.S. Crime, Hate Crimes, Officers Killed on Duty) the statistics extend back to the mid-1990's.
Statistics Canada also maintains statistics on crime .
